If you are a UK taxpayer and would like to Gift Aid your donation, Almost Home Dog Rescue can claim an additional 25% of the value of your donation from HMRC. This means that if you donate £10 and use Gift Aid, it’s actually worth £12.50 to us! It won't cost you a penny - so it’s great news for you and for us. To say ‘Yes’ to Gift Aid, you must be a UK taxpayer, meaning that you pay tax on your earnings, savings or pensions. So, if you make a donation to charity, your donation will come from money that you have already paid tax on. As a charity, we can reclaim this tax back from the Government as Gift Aid. Please understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains tax, in the current tax year, than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of your donations to charity, you may be asked to pay any difference.
