Everyone say hello to …… Winnie!💔💛 Winnie was adopted from us nearly 10 months ago, sadly she is back in our care. This is due to some of her deep set traumas.💔 Winnie is a 2/3 year old, French bulldog cross. Who’s had an awful life, a life which has left huge mental scarring on this girl. Thankfully, she was adopted and was doing very well. Her adopter worked very had and has brought her on a long way. However felt they couldn’t carry on.🐶 Since coming back into our care, Winnie has been with some experienced Fosterers of ours. Shes been brilliant in the house, they can’t fault her. Winnie is fab with visitors, loves her toys, generally a well behaved, happy girl. 🥹😘 Medically, she’s in fab condition, spayed, flead, wormed, microchipped and vaccinated. She’s only 16 inches to the shoulder, so not a big girl at all. Currently weighs around 14.2kg.💪🏼🐾 Sadly walking is her biggest trauma, some days she’ll do a walk perfectly, some days she freezes and then walks again, some she freezes and just wants to go home. Her safe place. This can vary massively from day to day.🏡 This girl has so many positives. She’s fab with people, happy around dogs but doesn’t want to share her safe space, she’ll walk with other dogs, is house trained, travels well, happy to be handled, quiet, playful, good eater… the list goes on. 😍 However she doesn’t always want to go for a walk. We are still assessing this further. Currently, we are thinking she needs home with someone who is flexible with her. If she’s having a bad day, no walks happen but instead there plenty of other stimulation they can do. Mentally and emotionally etc.💛 Maybe someone who has a big garden or is happy to rent a field for her to go to now and then. Someone who is going to listen to what this girls needs and be empathic to her past. More details of her past will be given at a later stage of the adoption process. 🤞🏽❤️🩹 Please do share this girl so can find her forever home, with her human(s). 🏡 Remember to complete form below if you’re interested in adoption;P
