Collie x lab
Older Only

Everyone meet our next resident…. Whiskey!💙 Sadly this young lad found himself in the pound with nobody coming forward to claim him. Whiskey is chipped however there was only his breed and a date of birth on it, no name. 😕 So we have named him Whiskey, we know he is a collie x lab and was born feb 23. This lad has not seen much of the world but is adapting well and really starting to trust us.❤️ He is very typical of the breeds and full of energy and brains. Whiskey is active and loves to learn. He watches everything and is eager to please. This lad can go along way in the right hands.💪🏼🐶 At the vets he was trying to give everyone a hug and kiss whilst having his assessment. He passed a healthcheck with an advisory to gain some more weight which will come over time. He is currently 19.7kg. Whiskey has started his vaccinations, been flead and wormed and will be booked in for neutering too.👍🏻 This lad is fab in the car, happily jumps in and travels well. He is good at being handled and groomed too. Whiskey has been good around other dogs in kennels so far but we will be assessing him further as time goes on.🖤 It was clear he hadn’t been on lead much when he arrived. However he is now walking on a headcollar which makes him feel safe and secure. He is walking well with all our volunteers too. This young boy, is a little unsure if a lot of traffic goes by but is improving on each walk. 🐾 We feel he could live with older dog savvy children. He is a good size lad and has some more growing to do. Whisky is so young, that he can moulded in whatever you wish. Whoever adopts him, really is going to have to exercise his mind and body. He is super clever and wants to learn.😇🐶 Please share this stunning boy far and wide.🙏🏼 Remember to complete the form below if you’re interested in adoption;
