Everyone meet our residents …… Velma and Vera!💛 Sadly Velma and Vera were part of a large group of dogs we brought in whilst assisting the RSCPA. Sadly they were in a house where their needs werent being met and they were living in vile conditions.💔 Both these girls were in an awful state when they arrived with us! We have seen a lot of dogs in poor condition but never nails like these!💔 They were superstars since the moment we met them. They have been great with everyone and everything we have asked of them has been done with a happy wiggle.💙 They are so happy now they are in foster that they carry their toys everywhere with them. They are grateful for everything they have and are enjoying their freedom to do what they want, when they want.❤️‍🩹 Vera is 10/11 years old and shihtzu cross with Chihuahua. Velma is a 9/10 years old and is a shihtzu. Both girls have started their vaccinations, been flead, wormed and are booked in to be spayed.✔️✔️ These girls were so matted when they came in they couldn’t toilet properly and they had nails which were over 3 inches in length. Vera is very bald due to the living conditions and the fleas. Thankfully all this is now under treatment and with basic TLC, they are looking feeling a lot better already! 💛 These girls adore their cuddles and lap up any attention they can get. They adore each other and are always checking in on each other!🐶 Currently they are in foster with multiple other dogs without an issues.
