Everyone meet our next poundie …. Trixie!🧡 Trixie  is a  cav x poodle ( cavapoo)  who is going to be 5 years old in September. Sadly she found herself in the pound and no one came to claim her!💔 Thankfully, we managed to find her a foster home and she’s slotted right in. Trixie has clearly been looked after and someone has cared for her at some point in her life, and she’s clearly  been spoilt.🐶 Trixie is a happy girl but is shy when she first meets new humans and other dogs. However this doesn’t last long. Shes soon taking treats and laying down with the other dogs. Whilst she is happy to socialise with other dogs, we believe she would prefer a home where she is the only dog so she can enjoy all the attention for herself. ⭐️ This girl needs an active home with someone who understands the breeds or similar breeds. Shes very clever and adores a fuss however she needs to be treated as a dog and not as a baby. 🙏🏼 Trixie is housetrained, travels well and walks well on lead. She’s happy to meet other dogs when out and about as long as they aren’t too bouncy or in her face, Trixie is self confident enough to tell another dog off, if they are being too much. 🐾 Due to her breed, she will need regular professional grooming (6 weekly) and brushing daily so please do keep this in mind if you’re considering placing an application. ✂️ At the vets, she was a good girl. She’s underweight at only 4.7 kg so does need to gain muscle and weight. Apart from that she’s healthy girl, who’s booked in to be spayed. We have started her vaccinations, flead and wormed her. 🙌🏽 Trixie is going to be a fab girl once she’s fully decompressed and found her forever people. However she deserves to be treated as a dog and not baby!
