Everyone meet our next resident……Smutt!🫶🏼 This lad is on a home from home system which mean he will stay with his current owners until we find him the forever home he needs. Smutt’s situation is very sad and it’s been a hard situation for the family. However they are doing this for Smutt!❤️‍🩹 Smutt is a 9 year old Cockerpoo. Sadly one of his owners passed away and then a short while after, the other owner has gone into a care home. A family member decided they would have Smutt as he has always been a big part of their family but sadly Smutt can’t cope with young toddlers. He is used to a quieter and calmer lifestyle!😞🫶🏼 On assessment, Smutt was a tad shy to start but soon enough was having cuddles and playing fetch. It’s very clear he’s been a big part of the family all his life. ❤️ Smutt is good with other dogs and even better off lead. His recall is fab and he is good in the car. On lead he can be strong to start but does settle down.🐾 This lad is brilliant in the groomers (his breed requires regular grooming), he’s neutered and up to date with flea, worm and vaccinations.🙏🏼 Smutt is a very switched on lad and knows alot of commands. He enjoys cuddles on the sofa of an evening. He’s spotless in the house and happy to be left for a few hours.😘 We are looking for active yet, calm home for this lad, he has been through a lot lately and needs to decompress.
