Everyone meet our next resident……Skye!💛 This girl is 18 months old and a yellow lab. Sadly she finds herself in our care due to no fault of her own!❤️‍🩹 Skye is with one of our fosterers and has been brilliant ever since going into their home. She’s passed dogs well on lead, is lovely with every human she meets and simply adores playing!🥰 This girl is good in the car and is house trained. Skye is crate trained and happily sleeps in her crate down stairs over night without an issue!❣️ Sadly when she arrived with us, she had an intermittent limp on her front left leg. We have had X-rays done to see what’s going on. It doesn’t seem to affect Skye in the slightest. She also has a scar from a dog bite on her back. Her previous owner said she jumped off a wall to get away from a cat, then the limp started.😞 The X-rays at our vets came back and it looks like she has small old injury on her leg wrist. So for now, she’s on short but often lead walks and some mental stimulation games. They have advised that we monitor it and see how it strengthens over time. Her hips were also X-rayed and they are fine….. our Vet feels she will still be able to live a full healthy life! 🤞🏼❤️‍🩹 Please share far and wide!🤞🏼 Remember to compete the form below if you’re interested in adoption;
