Everyone meet our next resident …. Shep!💚 This lad came in to our care due to him being a failed working sheep dog. He decided that wasn’t the life he wanted and therefore needed a rescue space. 🏡 Thankfully we had a foster free who was suited to teaching him what it’s like to be a family member. He is now living in the house and doing very well. However it is baby steps to get him adjusted to normal family life. As expected he’s a very fast learner and super clever. Which means he is picking up the basics quickly. Shep is a collie whose date of birth is 20.10.24. So he’s only very young. 💖 Before coming to us he had lived outside with other dogs and never been in the house. However he’s adapting well and starting to get the hang of things. 😍 Due to his breed he needs a very active life, where his mind and body are exercised. He is now walking on lead with reassurance and travels well too!🐾 He’s currently in foster with other dogs who are also showing him the new way of life which is he is loving!💙 At the vets he passed a healthcheck, started his vaccinations, has been flead, wormed and mircochipped. Shep is also booked in to be neutered once he’s gained some condition.💪🏼 Please share far and wide so he can have a loving home where his needs are met for the rest of his life.🏡
