Everyone meet our next resident …. River!❤️‍🩹 River is a tiny Chihuahua who’s 5 years old. Sadly, she found herself in our care through no fault of her own. It is, however, a complex situation and not easy for anyone. More details will be given at a later stage of the adoption process.🏡 This girl is fab, she’s not had it easy but she is going to make a lovely companion for someone. River is epileptic this is easily controlled with her medication which is given twice a day and she is brilliant at taking it. It works out at around £20 per month or less. ❤️‍🩹 River is good with other dogs and people. She’s a gentle and sweet girl who adores company. She’s housetrained and crate trained too. River can live with older, dog-savvy children and people who have experience of the breed.😍 Due to past trauma, she isn’t a huge walker, but loves going out and seeing what’s going on. We feel, in time, her confidence will improve and she will go for walks. However, we are not pushing her, this is all at her pace!🐾 She loves to play and adores her cuddles. River does make little piggy noises and some people struggle with them. She mostly does it when she’s very happy, excited or nervous.
