Paddy! 🧡 This little guy was an urgent intake as our local vets called us when his owner walked in with him and asked the vets to put him to sleep! 😡😞 This lad is a 3 year old Chihuahua who’s a nervous lad and especially of walking sticks (take a guess!) 😡 He went straight in to an experienced foster home and hasn’t looked back.❤️‍🩹 Since coming in to foster, he has been around cats and another small dog without an issue. He is shy of new people but gets used to you in his own time. We have seen no aggression whatsoever, however we have always allowed him to come to us.❤️‍🩹 He has been good in the car and spotless in the house. Paddy loves his crate, this is a safe haven for him. When life gets a bit much, he will go in there and relax. This is something he needs to carry on when adopted and an understanding of why that needs to happen 🖤 Paddy needs a understanding home who will allow him to go to them when he’s good and ready. He doesn’t need someone who pushes themselves on him. It’s clear he has had rough handling and been forced to do things which make him uncomfortable.😡 Please only apply if you have a calm house hold with no children. He needs an empathic home. Paddy loves going out for walks and this will help him lose weight. 👍🏽 He is booked in to be vaccinated and neutered next week.
