Everyone meet our next resident …. Maisie!😘 Maisie is a chocolate lab, who’s not had the best start in life. At a quick glance you would think she was a very old girl, however she just needs some TLC!💔 This girl was a stray and no one came forward to claim her, thankfully we managed to get her into foster.❤️‍🩹 Maisie is around 8 /9 years old. Sadly, she is massively under-weight and hasn’t seen much of the world. However, she does take everything in her stride. This girl has an over-bite too, but it doesn’t stop her. 🌟 She’s good in the car and loves a good walk in the fields. Maisie is happy to be handled and loves attention. She could live with older, dog-savvy children. Sadly, she’s been starved before so she’s very food-focused and is a hungry girl. Slowly but surely, she’s learning that food is a regular thing and understanding no-one is going to take it off her.💔❤️‍🩹 Maisie is in foster with other dogs however, she’s more than happy to be an only dog too. This girl doesn’t like dogs sniffing her too much, she’s getting better with time. She’s not aggressive but will tell them off. Sadly, we see this with dogs who have been made to breed.😣 At the vets, she was a star. Everyone who meets this girl just smiles and gives her a cuddle. She’s started her vaccinations, been flead/wormed and she’s booked in to be spayed next year, so she can gain her condition.💜 Sadly, when she arrived she stank and had a very thick kennel coat. However, she’s since been to the groomers and now looks, and smells, a lot better.
