Everyone meet our next poundie……LuLu!💛 LuLu is around 4 years old and is a French bull dog. Again, sadly she is another victim of backyard breeding. She’s clearly had litter after litter and now the market for pups has crashed she’s been dumped. 🤬💔 This girl is a sweetie who’s scared of most things however she looks for reassurance from her handler. She trusts you after a few moments and loves her cuddles and fusses. However she will duck and cower with fast hand movements.🥺 We can’t imagine what this girl has been through. Yet again, another dog who’s been neglected and abused AND still willing to trust! Another example of why we don’t deserve dogs!🫶🏼 LuLu is coming along well and her confidence is growing daily. She’s enjoying her short walks and adores her food. She’s a hungry girl but starting to understand it’s a regular occurrence .🙌🏽 This girl is going to make someone a fab best friend. She needs someone to show her the worlds not as scary as she thinks and she’ll soon understand she’s going to be ok.🥹 Since arriving with us, she’s loved her big squishy bed and treats. She even did some zoomies, then came back for a cuddle. LuLu is going to be better suited as an only dog. She’s fine out and about walking around dogs but she doesn’t like them in her face. She needs her human to trust and love. Someone to rely on and allow her to find herself!🫶🏼 At the vets she was so scared but with plenty of reassurance and fusses she was ok. She made new friends. LuLu has started her vaccinations, been microchipped, flead and wormed too. She’s been booked in to spayed as well. Hopefully soon enough, with the right food, love and exercise she’ll be feeling so much better.
