Everyone meet our next residents ….. 💛 Johno - fawn - male - July 2020 🖤 Bertie - white and black - male - June 2021 Both of these lads have been saved from the racing industry. Thankfully, we managed to find some space for them. Sadly, there are literally hundreds of greyhounds waiting to come in to rescue….. one of the main reasons why we are trying to get a ban in Wales!🤞🏽❤️‍🩹 Both boys are doing very well. They have been amazing with people and have so far assessed well with other breeds of dogs. However, we will be assessing them further this week with smaller breeds. Both are fine with other greyhounds and medium dogs. 🐶 💛Johno is 3.5 years old and has done 62 races in his lifetime, he’s a chilled-out lad who’s taking everything in his stride. He’s a good looking lad who has the wow factor wherever he goes. We feel he is looking for more relaxed and chilled type of home. He is a calm lad who could live with other dogs and dog-savvy children.🏡 🖤 Bertie is 2.5 years old and full of life, he’s done 12 races within his life time. This lad is like Tigger when he first meets you however quickly settles down. Bertie is in need of an active home, he would do well with a busy environment with plenty going on. Bertie really likes his food too! Again, we feel he could live with other dogs and older, dog-savvy children, as he could accidentally knock over small children with his enthusiasm. 🙈😘 Both lads are happy to be handled and groomed. They love their walks and walk beautifully on-lead. Neither of them can live with small furries. They travel brilliantly and loved a cuddle. 😍 Please share these lads far and wide so they can find their forever homes. 🙌🏽🤞🏽🏡 Sadly, the reality is that they will find it a lot harder to find their forever homes than most of our other dogs due to lack of interest in greyhounds as a breed.
