Everyone meet our next poundie ….. Jet!🖤 This lad has served his stray time and no-one came forward to claim him. He then went in to a foster home via the pound then came to us.❤️‍🩹 Jet is a collie who’s around 1 year old. He’s a smaller lad but very sweet natured. This lad adores people. He wants lots of cuddles and reassurance. ❣️ It’s evident that he’s had the negative methods of training previously. He is scared of fast movements from new people, lead corrections and walking sticks. However he is now walking on a Gencon (headcollar) and is a lot more confident. 💙 Jet is doing well on his walks now and is getting more social around other dogs too. He doesn’t know what to do, he clearly hasn’t seen the world. However he is so eager to please, he really could go along way. We haven’t done off lead with dogs yet however he can walk with them.🐶 When he was in foster before coming to us, it was said that he’s housetrained, quiet over night and loves his cuddles. 😍 Jet also likes to play fetch and loves tennis balls! He can do basic commands such as sit, down, paw and leave. This lad would be brilliant in dog activities such as canicross, agility or fly ball. 😁 For a young lad he has gone through a lot, now he needs a place to call his forever home. He could possibly live with older dog savvy children. However he needs home with experience of collies or similar breeds. Also a home where he can have his exercise needs met.
