Everyone meet our next resident …. Jack!💔❤️‍🩹 This little lad came in very confused however has decompressed well. He is a terrier mix who’s short and sturdy. We think he is around 9 years old.🥹🫶🏼 Sadly his owner passed away a few months ago and then another family member took him. Sadly this family member has personal issues and this got taken out on Jack. 💔 When we collected Jack he was clearly scared and thought he was going to be hurt. He sat there shaking and whimpering. However soon enough he realised he was safe at least!❤️‍🩹 Jack has been spotless in the foster home, knows basic commands and loves to explore. It’s clear that his original owner loved him and he has been loved for some of his life. Now we need to find him, his forever home. Some were full of love and understanding that he has been through trauma.🥹💜 Even though this lad was petrified, he didn’t show any aggression and was very submissive. He was a star at the vets, allowed a full examination to take place and has been vaccinated, flead and wormed. Jack is booked in to be neutered too. We think the vet was abit taken with him as well!😍 This sweet gentlemen, is starting to understand that hands are positive and he adores a comfy bed. He loves his food and enjoys a walk. Jacks lead manners are coming on well but he is a bit exited to start.🐾🐾 We feel he could live with older, dog savvy children but fast movements can make him jump. He loves the garden and going for a sniff too.🩵 Currently he is in foster with another dog. He is doing ok, but he has always been an only dog and feel he would prefer this. He’s fine when out and about passing dogs on a walk etc. however we feel he would be most comfortable as an only dog.
