Everyone meet our next poundie …. Iris!💔 Iris sadly found herself in the pound after her owner was forced to give her up. It is clear this girl has had nothing and hasn’t seen anything either.💔 Iris is a blue Merle collie who is 9 years old who very under weight. She is currently in foster (with Fern) and doing ok. Each day we are seeing more improvements and an increase in her trusting us. However, she still has a long way to go. 🥰 She’s starting to walk on lead and is taking treats from our hands. She travels well and is ok when being handled too once she trusts you. ❤️‍🩹 This girl is super nervous but has never shown any sign of aggression. We feel she would benefit from living in a calm environment with empathic humans. She couldn’t cope with busy household at this stage. ❣️ In foster, she has been great with others dogs, and is really starting to understand she is safe. However there’s still a way to go. We know in the right hands this girl will blossom. 🌸 Iris needs a home filled with love and empathy. A calm environment where she can feel safe and secure is key. Once she’s got her confidence shell love her walks and her cuddles.
