Everyone meet our next poundie …. Hugo!💔❤️‍🩹 This lad was stray, we have named him Hugo and he’s currently in an urgent foster placement. Sadly we don’t know his age or his original name but we know he’s an older lad so we are classed him as veteran. (10 years plus)💔 When he arrived he was massively under weight, had poor overall condition and was in a sorry state. Clearly hasn’t been looked after properly for along time! Despite all of that, his tail never stops. Everyone gets greeted like a long lost friend!🥹🥰 This gentlemen has won the hearts of everyone he’s met. Everyone adores him and we want to find him the very best retirement home. However he is still active!💚 Hugo loves to play fetch, adores sunbathing and loves his trots around the field. His recall isn’t too bad and he is fab with other dogs. In his foster home he has been around a wide range of dogs without an issue!😇🐶 At the vets he was star. He allowed a full healthcheck to take place and started his vaccinations as well as being flead and wormed. Once he’s gained his weight and condition he will be neutered. He did have blood test done and is now on some supplements as his liver readings were a little high but nothing worrying. 🙌🏽 There’s life in the old dog yet, is the perfect summary for this lad. He loves going in the car and his strength is coming along brilliantly! He’s on serval small meals a day to help him gain weight correctly!🩵 We feel he could live with or without other dogs, he could live with dog savvy older children too.
