Harley update; (aka momma bear) This girl is improving daily; she’s going from strength to strength. Everyone now gets a waggy tail and lovely greeting from her. 🥰 Harley is more than happy to go for a walk with anyone. She’s even started playing with toys. We all adore her, as do our volunteers. Harley loves her food and will do some basic commands for treats as well.❣️ This girls nervousness has decreased massively. She can be slightly nervous of vans and walking sticks however with some reassurance, she’s ok! Once she trusts you, she adores you and she is trusting and relaxing with people more quickly 🥰 Harley is more than happy walking with or without other dogs. She’s walking well on her headcollar and loves going in the car for an adventure! However we do feel she’s best suited as a only animal within the household. This girl deserves all the attention she can get!! 💛 Health wise, Harley now does three walks daily around 30/45 min each. However she equally loves plodding around the garden and sunbathing. Her fur is growing back well too! 😇 All this girl needs is her forever home!! We know what this girl needs and we are on a mission to find it! Harley needs a forever home where she’s treated as a queen with lots of love, a comfy bed and adventures. 😍❤️‍🩹 Please share far and wide!🙌🏽🤞🏼🙏🏼 Remember to complete the form below if you’re interested in adoption; Everyone say hi to our next resident….. Harley!💔❤️‍🩹 Harley came in to our care after serving her time as a stray. It is sadly clear this girl is an ex breeder. Once they were done with her, she became a stray!🤬💔 This situation is another reminder why you MUST see the living conditions of pups AND parent when you go see a puppy. If you decide to shop and not adopt.😞 Harley is around 3-4 years old and is mastiff type. Since joining us last week this girls confidence has grown daily. She was petrified and a little head shy when she first came in. The world was a big scary place, and we are pretty sure she has not seen much of it at all 😢 However she’s now loving her new life. She is starting to trust people really quickly. Harley’s now very excited when we show her lead as well! 🐾 Regarding her walks, we are slowly building them up. She has little and often at the moment. This is due to her lack of muscle and her confidence. But everyday she’s improving!🙏🏼❤️‍🩹 All our volunteers adore her and she adores them. She’s slowly understanding what a toy is and playing when she thinks no one is watching. She’s been spotless in her kennel and loves her bed. (We have ensured the bed is big and extremely comfy)❣️ At the vets she was a star. She passed a health check and has her spay appointment on Friday. Her weight and muscle are building up nicely. Harley’s fur is regrowing in the thinner patches ( vet feels they are due to an hormonal imbalance and bad nutrition) and all this is happening due to a lack of basic care. That’s all she needed!!❤️‍🩹 Harley’s a fab girl who knows a lot of basic commands. She walks well in her head collar and loves plodding around the garden. Harley is happy walking with another dog on lead without an issue. We haven’t had her off lead with others yet. This girl will jump in the car and is ok when travelling.🧡🐾 Once Harley trusts you, she adores you! You’ll get big dog cuddles and slobbery kisses 😘 There will be updates in this girl as we learn about her and her needs. This is just a reminder we choose the most suitable for the dog in question regarding adoption. We don’t chose; who applied first and who wants her the most. 🙌🏽 Please share far and wide so we can find this lady her forever home! 🙏🏼🤞🏼 Remember to complete the form below if you’re interested in adoption;
