Everyone meet our next poundie …. Guy!💔 This lad was a stray and no one came forward to claim him. When we saw him at the pound we knew we had to bring him back!❤️‍🩹 Guy has the sweetest nature, he is 3 year old scruffy lurcher who medium in size. He is covered in scars and wounds all over his body. He is painfully thin yet he still trusts us and wants a cuddle!🤯❤️‍🩹 Thankfully we managed to get this lad straight in to foster and he hasn’t looked back. He is in foster with other dogs without an issue and has enjoyed socialisation with various breeds without an issue too!🥰 Guy has been great with all humans he has met and could live dog savvy older children without an issue. He is good in the house and picked up house training well. He walks beautifully on lead and has enjoyed himself plodding around a secure field.🐾🐾 This lad travels ok and adores his cuddles. Once at full strength we feel he’s going to active lad who’s full of life. At the moment he is only having lots of little walks and meals throughout the day to help gain body mass and strength. 💪🏼 At the vets he was a super star. He was saying hello to everyone in the waiting room and then happily had this healthcheck. Apart from his wounds and being massively under weight, he has passed a healthcheck. There is nothing medical wrong him this was starvation!💔🤬 He currently weighs in at 18.7kg and should be around 28 kg! Guy is going back to the vets in a few days to ensure everything is going to the right way. He was brilliant when having his wounds cleaned too! 🤕🧡 We are looking for home with someone who has an understanding of Lurchers and their needs. Someone who is going ensure this lad blossoms in to the dog we all know he and not hold him back because they feel sorry for him. He needs positivity now!🫶🏻 He isn’t ready to be adopted just yet, however we are opening up applications.
