Everyone meet our next resident…..Gavin.❤️🩹 This little lad was originally a stray in October 2022 where he spent his seven stray days at a vets. After that Gavin was rehomed to three different vet practise staff and sadly none of these homes worked out. ☹️ We feel strongly that he should have come in to rescue first, so he could have decompressed, had a full behavioural assessment and medical work done that was needed…. instead of being passed around. This lad is a such a scared boy due to whatever his past was, the last thing he needed was so much movement and confusion. However he is with us now and doing very well indeed. ❤️ Gavin went straight in to an experienced foster home and he’s still there now. It’s quite clear this lads had a rough time. He’s gentle soul who hasn’t done a thing wrong!😍 This lad is around 5 years old and French bulldog x type. He adores chilling on the sofa and going for walks on quieter lanes. He walks beautifully on lead and travels well too.👌🏼 Medically is he good. He’s passed a full health check, been vaccinated, flead, wormed and neutered.❤️ In the house, he has been fab. He sleeps all night in his safe area which is a covered crate. He’s only had one accident and just enjoys human company. Gavin is starting to realise there’s nothing to worry about and that he is safe but it’s going to take a while to completely sink in especially after another move ❤️🩹 We are looking for a home with experience of nervous dogs. Somewhere he can carry on learning trust and feel safe. He has been fine with dogs on walks and ok with experienced dog savvy children. However we feel he would better living with children over 12 years old as fast movements scare him.☹️ Please share far and wide for this lovely lad!🫶🏼 Remember to complete the form below if you’re interested in adoption;
