Everyone meet our next poundie …. Flo!😍 Flo sadly found herself in the pound after being a stray. She is an ex-racing greyhound and she was bred in Ireland. We know this due to her being tattooed in both ears. We are currently waiting for her mircochip details from the GBGB to see if we can find more information about her. 🙏🏼 We believe this dinky girl is only young. Sadly she has the typical greyhound ‘off the track‘ scarring and kennel coat etc, so she’s not looking her best. She is underweight and has not seen much of the world. However she’s bonding well with us and we know soon enough, she’ll be taking on the world.💜 Flo has been great with everyone she’s met so far. She loves a fuss and cuddle and is walking better on lead already. She’s excited for walks now and really enjoys the country lanes!🐾 Up to now, Flo has been good with other large and medium sized dogs. We will placing her around smaller breeds soon enough, however so far so good. We haven’t cat tested her yet either but we will do over the coming days. 💛 Flo is good at travelling and isn’t worried by much when out and about walking. However she’s like an excited puppy when she first comes out, we know she’ll blossom and chill out in no time.🩵 This girl has passed a full health check and is booked in to be spayed. She needs to gain some condition and weight but this will happen over time with decent diet and grooming. 💪🏼🫶🏼 We are looking for a home with understanding of retired greyhounds or/and someone who’s willing to work with us to understand retired greyhounds.
