Everyone meet our next resident …. Evie!❤️‍🩹 Evie is a 7 year old crossbreed who’s come in under very sad circumstances and was part of urgent intake case. More details around the situation leading to the intake case will be given at a later stage of the adoption. However it is nothing that Evie has caused or done. 💔 This girl came in very matted and confused. It’s clear her needs haven’t been met for a while. We have no real idea what her life has been like however the signs are there that it hasn’t been great. 😔 Thankfully, we managed to get her settled in to a foster home. Evie is now starting to decompress and show her character. Once she trusts you, she loves a cuddle and a play She has come from a multi dog household and it would seem she’s had to fight for her food and attention in the past. Therefore we feel she’s better as only dog or to live with a calm / balanced dog with experienced owners. She is ok around other dogs and is in foster with them however does get stressed around meal times.😔 Evie is a happy girl and now that she has been de-matted, she has come alive. She loves her walks and travels well. She has previously lived with dog savvy older children and has been great with people.  😘 This girl is going to be a great companion for someone but she needs a human who’s got time and patience. We don’t know when she was last walked regularly, groomed etc. So she needs someone  to show her the way!✨ At the vets, she passed a full healthcheck, has been flead and wormed. She’s now booked in to be spayed and is microchipped. Her skin was sore due to the heavy matts, urine burns and dirty living environment. It’s improving already.🙏🏼 Evie will need regular grooming so please do consider this before applying. She’s now housetrained and she is happy in a crate when left or over night. However she doesn’t have to use one.💙 Please share this little girl so she can find her forever home.🏡 Remember to complete the form below if you’re interested  in adoption:
