Everyone say Hi to Dusty, now Frankie!🩵 Frankie is standard dachshund, who is around 1 year old. He was a stray who was unclaimed. Thankfully we managed to find him a space, just before his time was up in the pound.🙌🏽 This lad is everything the breed should be. Full of fun, character and a laugh a minute. He went straight in to foster as he was nervous in kennels!😖 He was adopted and was doing well but sadly is now back in our care. We feel he is better living in an adult only home or with people who are very dog savvy. He is nervous boy at times as can react.💔 However in foster, he has been great. He’s settling in well and loves his people now he trusts them. He is spotless in the house and happy to be left for short periods of time.🐶 Frankie has passed a healthcheck, been flead, wormed, mircochipped and is now neutered. He is a cracking looking lad and everyone comments on his shining coat. 💪🏼 This boy can be shy around new people for a few moments. However as soon as he trusts you, you can do anything with him. He adores his walks and is a good lad on his headcollar!💜 Frankie loves his cuddles after a busy day of exploring and sun bathing. This lad really enjoys the garden and feels safe there too.🥰☀️ Frankie has shown mixed reactions around other dogs. Some he doesn’t like, some he ignores and some he will play with. He has managed to walk with some dogs. With the right time and patience we think he will be fine. He just needs a human willing to help him socialise. As always you get full behaviour back-up for life!🙌🏽 This lad isn’t worried by passing traffic on narrow lanes when walking. He loves going to new places and adores sniffing in the country lanes too.❣️ This lad is going to be a fab addition to a household. However he is a proper dog, he loves walks and is full of sass.
