Everyone meet our next resident …. Dixie!💚 Dixie is a springer spaniel who is 10 years old. Sadly his owner passed resulting in him coming in to our care. He has always been outdoor dog and is used to having another dog to follow!🥺🩵 This lad is doing well and coming out of shell more each day. It is clear he will need to live with another neutered dog. He could be rehomed with pepper (our current older female Springer ). 🐶 Dixie travels well and will jump in the car. He is good at being handled and passed a full healthcheck. He has now been neutered, vaccinated, flead and wormed! 🙌🏽 This lad is shy boy who really does take his lead from other dogs. It’s all he has known. He adores his toys and his food. 💛 Dixie has been good in the field off lead as long as you have toy. He is a friendly lad with people but can be shy to start so therefore older dog savvy children are more suited or visiting children. He needs calmer household!🏡 We can’t wait to see this lad living the indoor life he very much deserves, with his canine friend and his humans…. We just have to find them! 🥰 He is an active boy and needs plenty of exercise. Dixie is starting to walk well on lead and we are continuing his training with this.
