Everyone meet our next poundie ….. Dexter!😍 Dexter is a stunning lad who found himself as an unclaimed stray. He was found by a member of the public in a canal, which is just utterly heartbreaking!💔 This lad is 3 years old and his microchip says he is a GSD crossed with a Springer Spaniel. He looks like a black Retriever, but a little smaller.😘🖤 Dexter is lovely with people and is a typical young, active dogs. He loves his walks and being out and about. He is now walking on a headcollar which will help with gaining lead manners too as he is so excited by all the sniffs in the country lanes. He isn’t bothered by passing traffic or live stock. 🐾 This boy has been good around other dogs too. He is happy to walk with or without other dogs. We will be testing him further around other dogs as his time with us continues.🐶 We feel he could live with dog-savvy children and would love a life full of adventures. Mental and physical stimulation is a must. He’s a very clever dude!🌟💙 Dexter travels well in a car and knows basic commands - sit, wait, leave and paw. He’s happy to be handled and has passed a healthcheck. We have started his vaccinations, fleas and wormed him.
