Everyone meet our next poundie …. Charlie!💔 This lad came into our care via the pound as a neglect case. It’s clear he has been severely neglected.💔🤯 Charlie was a shut down boy when he arrived. He was struggling! Thankfully, we managed to place him straight in to an empathic foster home where he can be supported in his journey to recovery.❤️‍🩹🙏🏼 This lad has been nothing but sweet and gentle since his arrival. Clearly he has been starved and left in an awful condition. This doesn’t happen overnight!💔🤬 Charlie is currently loving his foster home. Where he is had regular small meals and walks. Each day he is getting stronger and fitter. We are so proud of him!😘 At the vets he was a superstar. He has a body score of one. He only weighed 15.3kg when we brought him in but he is gaining weight. 2kgs in a week.😇 He’s had parasite treatments and medicated baths. His skin is improving well and he has just finished his course of antibiotics. Vets advise to carry on his baths and see how he does. His wound are starting to heal nicely too.🙏🏼😇 Once fit enough, he’ll be vaccinated and then neutered. As always we will cover the costs of all his medical ongoing treatments at our vets. ❤️‍🩹 He is approximately 18 months old and a medium sized lurcher. Charlie is great with people and good in the car. Now he knows how to walk on lead, he is starting to enjoy his outings.🥹 Charlie is still learning about world and is taking everything in his stride. He is ok around calm dogs and calm visitors to the house. He is going to need an empathic home with gentle and caring humans!❣️ Please share this lad so he can find his forever home.
