Everyone say hi to our next resident.... Bruce!🧡 🐶 Please read the ENTIRE write up before making an application. We will be unable to answer any additional questions until the meet and greet stage. Bruce came in to our care a couple of days ago. Sadly a lady had purchased him from Facebook and he was delivered to her. She didn’t see the other litter mates, the mother, sire or the home etc. He wasn’t chipped, vaccinated, flead or wormed.😞 After two weeks, the owner took Bruce to the vets, where he was vaccinated and chipped. During the visit the vet advised the owner that Bruce had a suspected dislocated hip 💔 All attempts to contact the breeder failed. Sadly the owners couldn’t afford to investigate this or pay for any associated costs, therefore he came in to our care. Bruce was checked by our vets .....we would like to point out that he is not currently in any pain. 💙 Once at our vets he had some X-rays. After speaking to the vets, it seems he was more than likely born with a deformity which does not stop him or slow him down. He is a typical pup who runs, plays, eats, toilets and chews!😂 At the current time our vets are pretty confident that there is no further action at this stage and he will grow and develop with it and can lead a normal life....which is amazing news for him!🤩 We will however show the X-rays and discuss this in more detail with any prospective adopters. 🙏🏼 Bruce is around 9 weeks old and the owner had him for 3 weeks. This is very sad, as he was clearly taken from the litter and his mum way too early. Also the situation in which the owner bought him, is sadly the wrong way to go about getting a pup. 🐶 Due to his needs, we are looking for someone with dog experience and preferably specific intelligent breed experience too. He is going to need a lot of input both mentally and physically. 🧡 To give him maximum opportunity to developed properly his owner need to prepare to manage exercise (no stairs.)
