Everyone meet our next resident…..Benji!❤️‍🩹 This lad sadly came in to our care via a vets, he was signed over to them from his owners family. His owner has passed away and the family had taken Benji to put to sleep. Thankfully the vets refused and gave us a call.💔❤️‍🩹 Benji is a 12 year old bichon frise whose weight is currently 13.9kg. He’s a cracking lad who loves a fuss. 😍 This lad has been a very good boy since coming in to our care. As you can see from the photos, Benji does need to lose a little weight and his eye sight isn’t the best. We know he can see shadows. However this doesn’t stop him. He quickly mapped out his foster home and knows his way around!👏🏽😘 Benji is good with dogs and cats however we would say older and calmer dogs only, so they don’t jump on him or spook him. We feel he would be ok around dog savvy older children again for the same reasons.❤️ This lad has taken everything in his stride, he was a star at the vets and is booked in to the groomers. He’s passed a health check apart from his eyes and he’s had some eye drops. We hope these will make him more comfortable. Our vets also cut his claws as they are so over grown.😞 Benji needs a calm retirement home where he can have small walks here and there. He loves to plod around the garden and have a good sniff. He will sit for his treats and he has been good house guest.
