Everyone meet our next resident …. Barti!💙 Barti came in to our care after he was signed over to a vets. He needed his eye removing after it was ruptured (we don’t know how) and needing treatment. Which sadly wasn’t done by the original owner. Thankfully the vets got him signed in to their care and then asked us for help. Instead of being put to sleep! 💔♥️ This lad is a 5 month old and collie. He’s passed a full healthcheck and has started his vaccinations. Barti has been flead, wormed and microchipped too! He currently weights just over 12kg but is putting weight and condition on well!🙌🏽 In foster he has been great with other dogs. He is a typical puppy and is full on. However he does listen which is great. He picking up housetraining well and coming along leaps and bounds. His recovery from the operation is outstanding. It doesn’t affect him at all!😍 As he is a collie pup therefore needs someone who has the time for him and is willing to put the effort into his training. Hopefully for next 12 year plus. He will need plenty of daily mental and physical stimulation. He will be neutered when he’s ready and we will pay for this as always.🫶🏻 Barti is good in the car and learning his lead manners well. He is learning some basic commands and adores his food. We feel he could live with other neutered dogs and / or dog savvy children.
