Everyone meet our next resident…..Alfie!😍 Alfie is a rough coated jack Russel who came in to our care due to his elderly owners decline in health. Sadly, Alfie was a rescue dog previously but the rescue has since closed down.😞 Since coming in to our care Alfie has been a star. He loves his walks and can still do a mile or two, once or twice a day. He really loves his toys as well!😁 Alfie adores being with you and relaxing. He loves his bed and an afternoon nap. Equally, Alfie really enjoys a plod around garden and sun bathing!🌞 At the vets Alfie was a good lad. He had his very long nails cut and has a passed a health check. We have restarted his vaccinations and chipped him. We feel he’s going to need a dental too, which he’s booked in for. Everyone at the vets loves him.❤️‍🩹 Previously, Alfie has lived with dogs his age and a cat without an issue. Also he has been around older dog savvy children. We would love to find that perfect forever retirement home for this lad, where he can live his best life for the rest of his life 🙏🏼 We are seeing more and more dogs needing to come into care due to elderly owners health and general demise.
