Everyone meet our next resident…. Alfie!❤️‍🩹 Alfie is a sweet lad who’s only 16 weeks old. He is a Welsh collie possibly a cross. Either way whatever his DNA is, he is a clever and active lad!💙 Sadly he came in to our care due to the owner having a change in circumstances. The previous owner stated when he collected him it was clear that he hadn’t at the best time previously.😔❤️‍🩹 This shows when Alfie first meets some people, he can be nervous and very barky. However he soon realises he is ok and takes treats and fusses. 💖 He did very well at the shop, vets and in the waiting room. Alfie said hello to all the dogs well and took treats off some humans. He loves to watch the world go by and learn from it. This pup walks well on lead and travels well. He has learnt some commands and happily jumps in and out of the car. 😇 Alfie has passed a healthcheck, been flead, wormed, mircochipped and started his vaccinations. Once ready he will neutered.✔️ This lad needs a home where they understand the breed and the effort needed. He is clever lad and needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Ideally he will live with other balanced and neutered dog(s). A walk is not enough for this lad!🐾🐾 Due to Alfie being nervous when he first meet people, we feel dog savvy older children is best. A home where they have nervous dog experience would be preferred and someone empathic to his life so far. ✨ He will blossom beautifully in the right home. Someone who is confident and will show him the ways of the world. He would do well with different types of training, such as agility, obedience, canicross, scent work etc, he has a big brain that needs exercising as much as his body. 🥰 Please share this handsome fella so he can find his forever home.
